Don Farrell (Canadian, 1942 – )

Don was born in Vancouver in 1942 and now resides on Vancouver Island.

He has participated in a number of Art Fairs in recent years, most recently at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition in 2004 and 2005 and has representations in the United Kingdom, Germany and Canada.

In 1984 Don was elected a full member of the Royal Institute of Painters in Water Colour and in 1985 elected to full membership of the Royal Society of British Artists.

Primarily working with water mixable oil in various forms such as paint and a bar, Don also uses pumis gels and acrylic gesso and matte acrylic gels to make up his mixed media paintings.
