Caralea Cole (Canadian, 1971 – )

Cara Cole received her M.F.A. at the University of Nevada Las Vegas, and her B.F.A. at the Ontario College of Art and Design. Her exhibitions include Young Photographers, curated by Lalla Essaydi at The School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston; Visual to Political, curated by Cheryl Younger, at the NYU Photo Center in NYC; Lurid at Arin Contemporary Art in Laguna Beach, California; Ei8ht at the Marjorie Barrick Natural History Museum in Las Vegas; and Cross Currents at Gallery 44 Center for Contemporary Photography in Toronto. She has received numerous grants and awards for her work including grants from the Canada Council for the Arts, and the National Endowment for the Arts.
